"Emotional experiences are absolutely subjective. They can be shared as part of a life story, but they are very difficult to extrapolate. Only when you live, surpass and analyze many different life experiences you can extract the "active principle" that underlies all of them, so that you can explain, systematize and share it" Mario Garcés - Daxnatur CEO
Nearly three decades of intense life experiences have been the starting point of the deep research into affective neuroscience carried out by the DAXNATUR scientific team since 2005. An exhaustive analysis of all the elements that characterize these situations, from their origin, their evolution and their solution, have allowed us to develop a solid theoretical framework to better understand the interaction between emotion, cognition, behavior and resilience.
Unlike most current models, which are merely descriptive, this new theory called Emotional Theory of Rationality (ETR) provides an explanatory model about what emotions are, how they interact with attention and cognition, giving rise to phenomena such as self-esteem or why resilience arises. In order to do so, it uses an evolutionary and multidisciplinary approach that allows to approach numerous psychological and behavioral phenomena, both individual and group, in an original way, providing a unique model to be able to explain and understand them in a well-founded way. The theory would thus become the Standard Model of Psychology.
But perhaps the most striking of this new theoretical model is its eminently applied approach that, based on real experiences, is clearly reflected in the original and effective contents and tools that make up the training services we currently offer. This applied approach allows to transfer these new scientific discoveries to the real scope of the organizations, optimizing the management of the HR and improving the human factor in the professional interactions and in the team work. The theory has been presented in several international workshops of neuroscience (Entert. = Emotion - CC Benasque 2009, SAN 2011 - Thesalonica, RETECOG 2011 - Madrid). At this moment, several lines of research are being developed in collaboration with important Spanish universities, such as the application of theory in the field of Social Psychology, carried out with the Faculty of CC.PP. And Sociology of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, or the line of research in Neuroeconomics, in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Group of Complex Systems of the Carlos III University of Madrid, in addition to other lines of collaboration in Psychooncology and Emotional Resilience with the H+M Hospitals group.
